WHAT COLOR EYES WOULD YOUR CHILDREN HAVE?
I’m not going to lie, I came across this website when Mr.DJW and I were just dating. I played around on it just because it’s something fun and I’m a nerd who loves all things science and genetics and history and bla bla bla. I SOOO SWEAR I DID NOT WANT TO HAVE HIS BABIES FOUR YEARS AGO! 
Recently, I came across the website, after having forgotten all about it for years. Now that we are actually trying for babies, I just HAD to try it again!

Alas, my dream for a brown haired, blue eyed baby will most likely not come true. Mr.DJW always wished he had blue eyes. His dad and all of his siblings had blue eyes. FIL also had blonde hair though and since those are all recessive genes, I’m not surprised that Mr.DJW ended up with his mama’s hair/eye color.
Oh the things I do to keep the baby fever at bay… 
P.S. If you’re curious what I look like with green/brown eyes, here’s a pic of me back when I used to wear colored-contacts. You know, back when I used to pretend that I was All-American, non-Asian? LOL

They’ll probably be green…Josh has green eyes and I have blue eyes but I’ve ALWAYS wanted brown eyes, and people think I’m crazy. But I do, I love them. Josh is the first guy I’ve ever dated that didn’t have brown eyes…I seriously love them. But I love his pretty green eyes, too.
No matter WHAT color eyes your baby has, it is seriously going to be the cutest baby ever.
Grass is greener on the other side? Let’s just switch babies, then yours will have brown eyes and ours will have gorgeous green eyes!

According to them, our kids eyes will probably be brown (which I figured) – my husband has brown eyes, and I have green eyes!

Our kids have a 2/3 chance of having blue eyes and 1/3 chance of green eyes. Both B and I have the same-ish hair color, so any kids will probably have light brown/blonde hair… but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a wild card with red hair!

Oh my gosh! I HAVE to check out that site! I’m half-asian with dark brown eyes, even darker brown hair and my husband has blue eyes and brown hair. I’m just dying to know what our kids would look like!

That site is SO much better than the big-B-little-b Punnett Square calculations I’ve been working out in my head… for quite some time now. {You’re not the alone in the genetics geekery!} I have brown eyes + Kevin has blue eyes, just like my dad… so our future little ones have a 50-50 chance of brown or blue. {Please let them be blue!} ♥
