BabyBoyDubs Bump Update: Week 34

How far along/EDD: 34w4d | 11/18/12 (I have this gut feeling that I’ll be in labor/hospital on Turkey day though!

Total Weight Gain: holding steady at 30 lbs!

Stretch Marks: No stretch marks (yet), officially no wedding band/e-ring :*(

Names Picked: Yep, we’ve told a few close friends and our parents/my brother. FIL actually helped us pick the one over another name we were considering. I started filling out his baby book last night and was hesitant on filling it out (in case he didn’t look like what we picked out), but I think it’ll fit him; I’m 99% sure!

Milestones: No official milestones, but with each passing week, Mama & Daddy Dubs are getting anxiously excited/nervous!!

Struggles: I have been waking up at 2x for a bathroom break at nighttime. Baby Boy ends up with the hiccups at least one time during the time and it keeps me awake for a good half hour/hour I’ve been getting up earlier and earlier during the work week too. And the joy that is third trimester nausea has finally hit me!~ I don’t think it’s quite the same as first trim nausea because I am hungry ALL.THE.TIME for ALL.THE.FOOD, but now that my stomach is probably half its normal size and pushed up right underneath my chest; I have trouble keeping food down/digesting. Even hours later, it’ll end up coming back up . TMI. So I’ve been trying to snack/eat smaller meals throughout the day. I’ll let you know how I keep up with that next week!

What are you most fearful/concerned about: we had our childbirth class on Saturday and I was straight SCARED about the entire birthing process. I’m more of the “let it happen” in-the-moment type of person, so I really didn’t need to hear/see some parts of the lessons. But, overall it was a good experience. My favorite part was the tour and lunch in the cafeteria! LOL I am kind of nervous, if in case, I have to get an epidural about the needle in my back, but it’s done all the time right? No need to worry? I hope?…

What are you most excited about: I think this answer will be the same for the next 6+ weeks. MEETING OUR BABY BOY! (on a side note: we got our air ducts cleaned and carpets shampooed/washed.) I’m so excited that my “to-do” list only has 3 things left!
