Mr.Dubs and I’ve lived in our house for just over 3 years now and this nursery is the first room we’ve made over from scratch! I should preface this post, by letting y’all know that I’m not the creative nor DIY type, nor do I have any idea on how to decorate my house beyond amazing pinterest inspiration boards and amazing renovation blogger friends. However, the task of transforming one of our guest rooms into our lil’ one’s nursery has been one of true accomplishment (especially for me!).
We chose this room as the previous owners used it as their son’s room and had left custom-built California Closets that I couldn’t pass up using for our baby boy!
So, I apologize in advance, for all of photo-heavy posts this week– but, that’s the fun part, no?!
So just to refresh your minds… THIS is what we started with, THIS is what the room looked like after Mr.Dubs’ amazing paint job… and here’s the 99.9% finalized nursery!!!!!
